Hair that feels like wet tissue or a rubber band after bleaching is not a surface problem — the protein inside the cortex is gone. Ordinary conditioner only smooths the outer layer, so the inside stays hollow. Grade your damage first

• Mild — dry ends, colour starting to fade, but the rest of the hair holds up. Shampoo plus leave-in care is enough.
• Moderate — the whole head feels rough, absorbs water fast, frizzy after blow-drying, the comb catches in the middle. You need a course of keratin treatment.
• Severe — bleached to the point of feeling like a rubber band that goes soft and snaps when pulled. Cut it. Do not force a rescue; the structure is gone and any product is only make-up.

The ritual: a treatment-grade routine at home

STEP 1 | Wash · Keratin Shampoo
Wash twice: the first pass removes oil, the second is a 1-minute massage. Rinse clean.

STEP 2 | Apply · Keratin Treatment
Towel-dry until it stops dripping (too wet will dilute the product). Apply starting 2-3 cm from the roots downwards; use more on the badly damaged areas and work in small sections for even coverage.
– Home: wrap in a warm towel for 15-20 minutes
– Salon: steam for 15-20 minutes
Rinse with warm to cool water — hot water will wash away what you just put in.

STEP 3 | Seal · Leave-in care
