L’ABBELL Professional Solution Series Perming Lotion 1 (1 Liter) is the Step 1 cold wave perming lotion for professional salon use: it is applied to hair wound on curlers to create the wave, then fixed with the matching neutralizer. Available as Step 1, Step 2, or the Step 1 + 2 set.

How to Use
Conditions for use: Shampoo hair with shampoo and towel dry thoroughly. Select the appropriate curler size. Apply the lotion to each curler.
Directions: Shampoo hair without massaging the scalp, then towel dry to remove excess moisture. With the help of perm-papers, wind hair onto curlers. Having completed the winding process, apply perm lotion carefully to each curler from the nape area to the front. Apply the remaining lotion to each curler evenly, then cover with a perm cap. Leave capped for about 5 minutes, then test curl and check that proper curl is obtained.
Development times: resistant hair 15–20 minutes; colour or sensitive hair 10–15 minutes.
Neutralizer (Step 2): apply about half the neutralizer and leave for 5 minutes; apply the remaining half and leave for 10 minutes; remove rods and rinse thoroughly.
Ingredients (INCI)
Perming Lotion 1 (Step 1): Thioglycolic Acid, Ethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, PEG-75 Lanolin, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance, Water, Ammonia.
Neutralizer (Step 2): the neutralizer packing does not print an INCI ingredient list — only Perming Lotion 1 (Step 1) carries an INCI list.
